Aces log extra time to gain split

The Minnesota Flying Aces junior hockey team gained a weekend split at Chicago in a pair of games that went to extra time.

Minnesota opened the series with a 3-2 victory in a shootout, Jan. 25, led by a 46-save performance in net from Jaxson Gosnell.

Blake Anderson and A.J. Gullickson recorded goals, with Gullickson and Anthony Martinez scoring in the shootout.

Chicago rallied from four goals down to take the finale 5-4 in overtime, Jan. 26. Nick Tolin scored two goals for the Aces.
