Gymnastics: Little Falls floors Rockford

After holding a narrow one-point lead after three events, Little Falls put the dual away with a stellar performance on floor to defeat visiting Rockford Area 127.2-124.15, Jan. 31.

Senior Rachelle LeBlanc swept all four events to lead the Flyers, complemented by a career-best all-around performance by sophomore Sarah Stout.

LeBlanc took first place on beam (9.6), floor (9.35), bars (9.175) and vault (9.15),  finishing with an all-around score of 37.275.

Stout posted a final score of 31.875, including second place on floor (8.0), third on vault (8.6) and bars (7.675) and fourth on beam (7.6).

Also turning in top routines were junior Hailey Claseman in fourth on vault (8.575) and eighth on floor (7.475); senior Stephanie Cluever in fifth on vault (8.5) and sixth on floor (7.7) and bars (6.75); junior Suzy Smith in sixth on beam (7.25); and senior Taylor Axel in seventh on beam (6.9) and eighth on vault (8.35).
