Howard Blomberg

Obit-Blomberg-formattedHoward E. Blomberg Jr., 65-year-old resident of Little Falls, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at his home.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Feb. 15,at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls with Chaplain Gregg Valentine officiating. Burial was at Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls.
Howard Edward Blomberg Jr. was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Amery, Wis., to Howard and Bernice (Tourville) Blomberg. He died suddenly Feb. 4, 2014. Howard spent his early childhood on the family farm near Emerald, Wisconsin. At the age of 13 he moved with his family to a farm north of Little Falls. Howard graduated from Little Falls High School in 1966. Howard attended trade school and became a machinist. He later became a licensed master plumber. Howard held various jobs in this capacity around the Little Falls area including Camp Ripley.
Howard is survived by his two children, Keith (Rhonda) Blomberg of Louisiana, and Klaudia Sanders of Little Falls; six grand-daughters; and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Joan (John) Wester of Coon Rapids and Brenda (Robert) Salseg of Emerald, Wis.; brother, Andrew (Kathy) Blomberg of Emerald, Wis.; nieces and nephews.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jeaneen Blomberg Sickenburger; and a nephew, Jason Wester.
