Defeating her nearest competitor by more than two points, Little Falls senior Rachelle LeBlanc dominated the field to claim a third Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) all-around championship in a row, Feb. 8.
LeBlanc claimed event titles on beam (9.475) and bars (9.3) and was the runner-up floor (9.3) and vault (9.25) to finish with an all-around total of 37.325.
Little Falls finished third overall out of six teams in the meet, which was held at Becker.
Sophomore Sarah Stout earned all-conference honorable mention honors, taking 10th place on floor with a score of 8.375.
Flyers close regular season with rout
Little Falls closed the regular season by cruising to a 127.9-115.65 victory over visiting Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Feb. 6.
LeBlanc ran the table, taking first on beam (9.55), floor (9.3), vault (9.25) and bars (8.95) to win the all-around (37.05).
Stout followed in second in the all-around competition with a score of 31.4, placing second on floor (8.75), third on bars (7.4), fifth on beam (6.85) and sixth on vault (8.4).
Also placing in the top eight for the Flyers were junior Hailey Claseman in second on vault (8.55), fifth on floor (7.6) and seventh on beam (6.7); junior Suzy Smith in third on beam (7.2) and seventh on floor (7.5); senior Stephanie Cluever in fourth on bars (7.1), fifth on vault (8.5) and eighth on floor (7.25); sophomore Gabby Lyter in fourth on beam (7.0) and seventh on bars (6.0); senior Taylor Axel in eighth on vault (8.1); and sophomore Avery Lillemoe in eighth on bars (4.95).
The Flyers were scheduled to compete in the Section 8A meet at Perham, Saturday, Feb. 15.
