Victor Boser

Victor Boser, 91-year-old resident of Little Falls, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at St. Gabriels Hospital in Little Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burialwas held Wednesday, Feb. 19, at St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Nicholas Landsberger officiating. Burial took place in the St. Marys Parish Cemetery in Little Falls.
Victor was born Oct. 22, 1922, in Platte Township, Morrison County to the late Henry and Johanna (Servaty) Boser. He grew up and attended school in Platte Township. On April 6, 1945, Victor entered into the U.S Army and served during World War II. He has honorably discharged Nov. 18, 1946. Victor was united in marriage to Lucille Veith on May 27, 1947 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church in Lastrup. He was employed at Jetkas Ace Hardware in Little Falls for 37 years from where he retired. Victor loved camping, fishing, hunting, bowling, playing cards and going golfing. He also enjoyed tinkering with small appliances. Victor will be remembered by his family for being a role model to his children and grandchildren on how to be an excellent father and husband. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Little Falls and a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus.
Victor is survived by loving wife of 66 years, Lucille Boser of Little Falls; sons, Alvin (Candy) Boser of Circle Pines, Melvin (Viki) Boser of Zimmerman, Gary (Kathy) Boser of Wahkon and Brad (Andrea) Boser of Shoreview; daughters, Diane Volkert of Fla., and Mary Ann (Dave) Olson of Little Falls; brother, Harold Boser; sisters, Caroline Waytashek, Ceil Stellmach, Elly Gall, and Betty Erkens; 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four on the way.
Victor was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Johanna Boser; daughter, Connie Thompson; sisters, Dorothy Keehr and Bernadine Hayes; and brothers, Arnold and Archie Boser.
