Little Falls opened on a 10-0 run, went up by as many as 11 and carried a 32-24 edge into halftime at Mora, Tuesday.
But the Mustangs kept clawing back, finally taking their first lead at 50-49 with 5:43 remaining, then holding on for a 63-57 win.
Sophomores Laura Fregin and Sarah Gold each scored 14 points and sophomore Melanie Dorn netted 11 to lead the Flyers.
Senior Brooke Finch and sophomore Jordan Schuett followed with five apiece and sophomore Mikayla Burns added four. Dorn also passed out six assists and Gold recorded six steals.
Dorn scores dozen
Visiting Foley went on a 10-0 run late in the first half to break a 16-16 tie and set it on its way to a 52-41 win over Little Falls, Feb. 13.
Dorn scored 12 points to pace the Flyers, followed by Gold with nine, Finch with five and Schuett and freshman Chelsea Moran with four apiece.
