The Friends of Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) would like to thank the visitors, volunteers and staff who helped to make the second candlelight ski at Crane Meadows National Wildlife Refuge successful, especially the Central Lakes College students. Thanks to volunteers who groomed trails, supervised the fire, handed out snowshoes and refreshments, took photos and talked with visitors. The Royalton Splash Park Committee would like to thank all in the community who supported our breakfast fundraiser Feb. 23, especially those who donated to the event including Pine County Bank in Royalton, Prairie Potato Farms in Rice, Sparboe Farms in Litchfield, Sunrise Ag in Little Rock, Walmart in Little Falls, as well as Kelly and the Royalton American Legion and countless volunteers. Harding Place would like to thank the Hillman Sportsmen’s Club for the donation of the bird seed for the bird feeders at Harding Place, Dynamite 4-H Club for celebrating the monthly birthdays by bringing dessert and playing bingo with the residents and to Matt and the staff at Thrifty White Pharmacy in Pierz for always going above and beyond to meet the needs of the residents and working with our facility.   — Laurie Doroff, Harding Place manager, Harding
