The Minnesota Flying Aces junior hockey team fended off visiting Breezy Point for a 5-4 victory, March 2, stopping a 10-game slide.
Eric Cruickshank scored late in the second period to break a 2-2 tie, then scored again early in the third.
Vladimir Marchenko, Eric Rogorzenski and Jake Mullendore also scored.
Goalie Patrick Anderson earned the win with 19 saves.
The Aces led 3-2 at the Twin City Steel, Feb. 27, before four unanswered goals gave the Steel a 6-3 win.
A.J. Gullickson scored twice on the power play and Cruickshank picked up a goal for the Aces.
