Freshman Cole Pfeiffer has been chosen as the February Student of the Month for grades 7-9. He is the son of Chris and Lyle Pfeiffer.
Pfeiffer is very active in school activities participating in football and basketball since seventh grade; he also played baseball in seventh grade. Cole was the Physical Education Student of the Year last year as an eighth grader.
“I enjoy having Cole in class. He is a positive upbeat student who is a lot of fun to be around, but he also takes class seriously. He is always focused and works hard to achieve good grades,” said social studies teacher Tom Bzdok. He said, “Cole is well liked and respected by his classmates and has become a leader by setting positive examples. He is a mature young man with so many good qualities that he is sure to be successful in life.”
Outside of school, Pfeiffer is active in church activities and assisting the Swanville Lions with carnival and the ice fishing tournament. He enjoys all sports, hunting and fishing.
Char Bzdok, science teacher, said, “This is my first year interacting with Cole as his physical science teacher. He is a wonderful young man. Besides being a very good enthusiastic student, he has a wonderful personality. I also believe that he is the type of person his peers look up to also because he is personable as well as very kind. Cole is very deserving of this award.”
Pfeiffer plans to attend college to become a software engineer. He would like other students to know “Don’t procrastinate.”
