Thomas Robert Klassen, 30, Little Falls has been charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.
On March 5, a Little Falls Police Department officer was at a residence on Fifth Street in Little Falls. While at the residence he located Klassen who was allegedly attempting to hide from the officer.
Klassen said that he was hiding because he had a warrant out for his arrest.
Dispatch confirmed the warrant on Klassen and he was placed under arrest.
Klassen allegedly said he had a meth pipe on him and handed it to the officer. Klassen said he had smoked the meth about 15 minutes prior to his arrest. Klassen also handed the officer a marijuana pipe stating it was his.
The meth pipe came back positive for meth, when tested.
If found guilty, Klassen faces a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and/or a $20,000 fine
