William (Bill) Schultz

William Schultz

William “Bill” Schultz, 73, has gone to be at peace with the Lord. On March 14, 2014, Bill passed peacefully with his family by his side.
William Edward Schultz was born to Gertrude (Scarr) and Arthur Schultz on August 15, 1940 in Little Falls, MN. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1958. Following High School, he enlisted in the Navy and was stationed on the USS Saratoga in the Mediterranean Sea.
When he returned from service in 1962, he spent time working at Crestliner and Larson Boats in Little Falls. In 1969, he moved to Moorhead, MN and began working at Silverline. He later worked at GNC, Portland Food Products, and Webb Industries until he retired in 2008.
In 1974, he married Rachel Greer in Dickey, ND. Together, they had two daughters, Roberta and Katie. Bill spent his life making those around him laugh. He was blessed with a quick wit and rarely let the opportunity to tell a joke pass him by. Bill had such a kind heart and found joy in so many things.
Bill is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rachel; daughters, Roberta (Chris) Rieger, Walcott, ND, and Katie Schultz, Fridley MN; grandchildren, Emma, Will, and Kendall; sister, Joanne Nelson, Little Falls, MN; brother, Richard (Lila) Schultz, St. Cloud, MN and brother-in-law, Daniel (Karen) Kedrowski of McKinley MN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Gertrude (Scarr) Schultz; sister, Karen Kedrowski, brothers-in-law, Dale Nelson and Harold Greer and Nephew Cory Kedrowski.
Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him and we are deeply saddened that his grandchildren will not have the opportunity to know what a beautiful man he truly was. I love you, Bill. We love you, Dad. We love you Papa. Spread your “big wings” and watch over us.
