The Pierz drama students under the direction of Diane Hauan will be performing a dinner theater, “Murder’s in the Heir,” a murder-mystery comedy at 5:45 p.m., Saturday, March 22, in the Performance Arts Center of Healy High School. “Murder’s in the Heir” is a comedy about the Starkweather family. Simon Starkweather (Jordan Funk) is a wealthy individual that finds a way to live forever by cloning himself. However, because cloning is so expensive he has no money left to give to his heirs when he dies. This makes all of them extremely angry and gives them a motive for murder. Starkweather meets his demise at the end of Act I and Mike Davis, the detective (Tony Smude) is hired to find out who killed Mr. Starkweather. In this two act comedy the killer is determined by the audience. During intermission the audience will be given a ballot to vote on who the murderer will be. It can be one of Starkweather’s nine relatives. Pictured are members of the cast front row (from left): Tony Smude, Jordan Funk, Jakob Novak and Cassie Virnig.
