Lindstrom charged with possession of heroin

A 22-year-old Little Falls man was charged Tuesday with a fifth-degree felony for having heroin in his possession.

Christian Lee Lindstrom was arrested Monday, after a Little Falls police officer went to a residence on Eighth Street Northeast where he was staying for a report of civil service.

The criminal complaint said that when the officer located Lindstrom sleeping in a small room, he observed in plain view on a nearby dresser, a piece of burned tin foil containing a small amount of white chunky powder.

The tin foil was burned in several spots and the officer believed the substance on the tin foil was heroin. Numerous other pieces of burned foil were allegedly located throughout the room.

Lindstrom allegedly admitted the substance on the tin foil was heroin.

If found guilty, Lindstrom could be sentenced to five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine.
