Fed up with seatbelt law

To the Editor:

I agree passengers should wear seatbelts, but as owner and driver of my car, it should be my right to use them or not. I am fed up with those idiots up on king hill telling me what I can or cannot do.

So, Mr. Lawmaker, take your seatbelt law and shove it. — Don Olson, Little Falls

If it is your right as the driver not to wear a seatbelt, why is it that your passengers do not have that same right?
That makes no sense to me at all.
If you do not want to wear it, don’t.
Just be prepared for the consequences of your choice.

SIMPLE, If you don’t like the rules of the road then DON”T DRIVE. I have seen first hand that seatbelts save lives.

I don’t disagree that they work but we have stop mandating personal choice. What’s next forcing people to buy Health Insurance?
