A persistent drizzle kept conditions far from ideal at Pierz’ Central Minnesota Conference (CMC) meet, April 24, with balls plopping into place where they normally would bounce.

Nonetheless, Pierz managed to finish in the middle of the pack to maintain its position in fourth place in the conference.

Junior Jessica Hawks was the scoring leader for the Pioneers with a 51, with the team’s next three scorers bunched closely together in junior Miranda Robertsdahl (61), freshman Brittany Talberg (63) and junior Isabelle Kohl (66).

Junior Sam Smith (72) and sophomore Kayla Wacker (77) rounded out the lineup.
