Wednesday is a ‘Day of Caring’ in Little Falls and Randall

On Wednesday, May 7, Little Falls Community High School students and staff will hold the fourth annual Day of Caring. All of the high school students and staff, along with some community businesses and individual members, will provide more than 3,000 hours of outdoor, spring cleanup service to seniors, disabled and homebound individuals within the cities of Little Falls and Randall.

Nearly 1,000 volunteers, including about 760 students, will help more than 155 individual homeowners who have signed up for assistance during the event. In addition, the volunteers will work on outdoor clean-up projects at city parks and community areas.

The public is reminded to drive cautiously on Wednesday morning between 9 a.m. and noon, because teams of students will be walking between work locations and crossing streets carrying rakes and other clean-up equipment.
