Marguerite Marge A. Dahmen

obit - Dahmen, M.Marguerite Marge A. Dahmen, 92-year-old resident of Pierz, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014, at the Harmony House in Pierz.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, May 8, at St. Ritas Catholic Church in Hillman, with Father Greg Poser officiating. Burial took place in the St. Ritas Parish Cemetery.
Marge was born June 20, 1921, in Lastrup, to the late Peter and Veronica (Harold) Buesseler. She grew up in Hillman and attended Country School at District 125 in Hillman. She was employed by the US Postal Service as a postal clerk from 1961 until retiring in 1981. Marge resided in Minneapolis for most of her life until she relocated to Pierz in 2002. While living in Pierz Marge was very active in volunteering at the Pierz Elementary School as a grandparent helping young children with their school work. As well as a helping at the Pierz School Marge also volunteered at other various places and found great joy in the service of volunteering. Marge was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Marge is survived by sons, Jim (Diane) Dahmen Lawrenceville, Ga., Tom Dahmen of Menahga and Steve (Cindy) Dahmen of Elk River; brother, Melvin (Nettie) Buesseler of Hillman; sister, Ginny (Ted) Hoheisel of Pillager; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by parents, Peter and Veronica Buesseler; sons, Jack Dahmen and Ted Dahmen; brothers, Peter Buesseler, Bob Buesseler, and Frank Buessler.
