Schulte and Moe named LF Students of the Year

Jack Schulte and Laura Moe were named Little Falls Community High School Students of the Year during an awards banquet May 14.

Both Schulte and Moe were named as the September Student of the Month at the beginning of the 2013-14 school year.

Schulte, the son of Brent and Julie Schulte, is a member of the Honor Society and has a grade point average of 3.991. He was on the hockey team, for which he attained a high school letter and was team captain; was on the high school track and golf teams and was a member of Link. He plans to attend Montana State University, where he will work to obtain a four-year degree in mechanical engineering.

Moe, the daughter of Dan and Jeanne Moe, participated in basketball track and cross country, where she led as team captain and earned All-Conference. She also won the Sportsmanship Award and was an ExCEL Award winner. She also took part in Key Club, Math League, Bank, Target, Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Youth as Resources board, Stand UP 4 U Coalition, Leadership academies. Moe plans to attend the College at St. Scholastica with her current interest being a future in physical therapy or pharmacy.
