The city of Pierz will begin spraying for mosquitoes Monday, June 2. The city purchased its own equipment so spraying can be done as needed.
“The spraying will continue every other Monday, depending upon the weather conditions and the need,” said Pierz Public Works Supervisor Bob Otremba.
“During times of high mosquito population, a treatment every week may be necessary,” he said.
Actual application dates will be posted on the city’s website, www.pierzmn.org, several days in advance.
