VFW Baseball: 15-run inning assures Little Falls split with St. Cloud Red

A 15-run inning assured the Little Falls VFW baseball team of a doubleheader split at St. Cloud Red, Tuesday.

Already leading 6-0 after four innings, Little Falls piled up 11 hits and five walks in the fifth-inning outburst.

Riley Pelzer, Dan Marod and Brett Czajkowski all had multiple hits in the inning.

Pelzer went 4-for-4 with a double in the game, while Mitch Boros and Adam Josephson each had three hits, including a double.

Alec Stark, Marod and Czajkowski also had multi-hit games.

Derek Poser went the distance to earn the win, not allowing an earned run and striking out five.

St. Cloud took the opening game 5-0.

Thomas Miller went 3-for-3 for Little Falls.
