Micheal Allen Henry, 35, Little Falls, was charged July 23 in Morrison County District Court with one felony count of fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and one felony count of possession of burglary tools.
According to the criminal complaint, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office had been investigating a series of attempted thefts at Pow Wow Grounds in Royalton. On July 21, a Morrison County Deputy gave a briefing about another situation involving Henry and an attempt to break into the Pow Wow Grounds money box. Deputies located Henry’s vehicle at an area residence.
The deputies noticed materials commonly used to smoke methamphetamine, which field tested positive. Henry allegedly admitted to breaking into the lock box four times and smoking methamphetamine, but said it was not his pipe.
Henry then reportedly gave consent for his vehicle to be searched, during which several burglary tools were discovered.
If convicted, Henry faces a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine.
