To the Editor:
After serving more than 26 years in the U.S. Army and Minnesota Army National Guard and holding numerous leadership positions at a junior and senior level, I understand that change is not always a bad thing for any organization.
Some of my best assignments were when I was the new kid on the block and had the opportunity to bring new ideas into an organization while working with individuals that had been there for a while. No matter how good the organization is, the ability to see how an organization runs with a fresh set of eyes is a benefit when entering the organization as a leader.
Charles Strack is the candidate that can be the fresh set of eyes for the Morrison County Sheriff’s Department. Charles has the background, experience, perspective and knowledge needed to be the next sheriff of Morrison County. He is a leader, family man and friend.
I have seen many leaders in my tenure, and Charles Strack is the kind of leader that will make an excellent sheriff for all the residents of Morrison County. He can and will make a difference. — Jeff Turner, Randall
