Loving wife, mother and sister
Eileen Kadmiry, resident of Sherman Oaks, California died July 18, 2014 of breast cancer and liver failure.
Born in Little Falls, Minnesota on June 10, 1955, the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth (Welle) Poser. She grew up on the family farmstead north of Pierz, Morrison County, off Highway 25, in Minnesota. She graduated from Pierz High School, class of 1973. She was a Princess Kay of the Milky Way candidate in her senior year. Eileen gave birth to a baby girl on September 7, 1973, whom she gave up for adoption upon birth and was reunited with her in St. Cloud on October 2, 2011. She attended Brainerd Technical College. Her first job was in Minneapolis, Minnesota working in the IDS Center. With a friend, she packed her belongings and moved to California in 1974. Sandi and Michael Clair were close friends then and she cherished the friendships of her high school classmates. She held jobs at Title Records, the Federal Governments Bureau of Census in Van Nuys, and as an owner of a retail store in Glendale Galleria. She was briefly married to Douglas Hoffman and married for 26 years to Maher Mike Kadmiry, a native of Morocco.
She took much pride in her children and became a full-time homemaker 16 years ago to care for her autisic child with Downs Syndrome and most recently to care for her daughter who was injured in a car-bicycle accident. She was an exemplary and devoted mother, a most-loving person with the sweetest nature, hopeful, strong and courageous, and a natural born beauty. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband Maher; daughters Jennifer (Mike) Trewick of St. Cloud and Kenza Kadmiry of Sherman Oaks; sons Abou-Baker and Hakim of Sherman Oaks; grandchildren Sydney and Nathan Trewick of St. Cloud; brothers Father Greg Poser, OSC, Crosier Community of Onamia, Minnesota, Cletus of Fort Myers, Florida, Severin (Mary) and Eugene Gene (Sue) of Pierz; sisters Gladys (David) Tripp of Plymouth and Laura of Hutchinson. Eileen will also be dearly missed by aunts, uncle, many first cousins, nieces and nephews and her many dear friends in Sherman Oaks.
Preceded in death by her parents and grandparents Herman and Theresia (Zierer) Poser and George and Martha (Wagner) Welle.
A celebration of her life will be held in Pierz at St. Josephs Catholic Church basement on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. She was buried July 21 at the American Islamic Institute of Antelope Valley in Rosamond, California.
