Orians, Bartos to replace Fritz, DeCann as fall coaches

Little Falls High School is excited to announce the hiring of Scott Orians as head girls soccer coach and Joe Bartos as head football coach.
The pair replace Marc Fritz and Jay DeCann respectively. Both resigned from their posts following the 2014 fall seasons.
Orians played three years of high school soccer in Omaha, Neb., and followed up with two years at North Park University in Chicago, Ill. Orians moved to Little Falls in 2011 and has been involved as a boy’s assistant soccer coach for the past four seasons.
Orians has been very involved with the summer youth soccer program in Little Falls as well. Orians is the Network Administrator at Little Falls Public Schools. Orians and his wife, Shelby have two children, Grace (5) and Hannah (2).
Bartos comes to Little Falls from Roseville Public Schools where he is a fifth grade teacher at Little Canada Elementary School. Bartos was a finalist for the 2010 Minnesota Teacher of the year.
Bartos played college football at the University of Minnesota-Morris and was a two-year starter and four-time academic all conference performer.
Bartos has been an assistant football coach at 6A Roseville High School for 11 seasons and the past five as a varsity assistant coach. Bartos will be an elementary education teacher in Little Falls and he and his wife Heidi have three children, daughter Samantha and two sons Payton and Bjorn.
