The Upstage Players Community Theatre group will present the Central Minnesota debut of the Broadway version of “Mary Poppins.” The production contains many of the classic songs from the film such as “Jolly Holiday,” “Spoonful Of Sugar,” “Let’s Go Fly A Kite,” “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and many more. There are also additional songs which were added for the Broadway version. The production includes cast members from Little Falls, Royalton and the host community, Upsala. Mr. and Mrs. Banks (Randy Borash and Melanie Cimenski) are in need of a new nanny for their children (Cari Simon and Hailey Cimenski). Mary Poppins (Maria Kosovich) appears magically and takes the job. Mary takes the kids on many magical experiences, many with her friend Bert (Alex Thoms-Warzecha). There will be four performances starting Friday and running through Monday, July 27. Showtimes on Friday, Saturday and Monday are 7 p.m. at the Upsala School auditorium. The Sunday matinee is at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and in advance from cast members.
