Royalton sports meeting, sign-up set for Aug. 6

The Royalton High School/Middle School Fall Sports Meeting will take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 6  in the High School.          At this meeting, parents can take care of submitting MSHSL and Royalton eligibility forms, athletic physicals, going over academic eligibility and paying for athletic/activity fees. Participants must have all of these items completed before they may begin practice.
The first day of practice for football, grades 9-12 is Aug. 10. Practice for grades 7-12 cross country and grades 9-12 volleyball is Aug. 17.
New this year, volleyball practice will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the first week of practice and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. the second week. Visit the website for all other practice times. Junior High volleyball and football will begin practice on their first day of school and will typically go from 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
The coaches will be available that evening to go over any important details that pertain to their sport and be available for questions.
