Region 8C Tournament in the books

After Nisswa defeated Sobieski 14-8 in the Region 8C Championship, a few things needed to be organized. First of all Rick Grammond announced his All-Tournament Team:

The Following players were drafted for the state tournament:

Nisswa drafted Kyle Collins and Caleb Curry from Avon

Sobieski drafted Matt Swanson (Upsala) and Kyle Peterschick (Randall)

Lastrup drafted Adam Harlander (Avon) and Drew Elness (Pierz Bulldogs)

Fort Ripley drafted Derek Thielen (Holdingford) and Kyle Boser (Randall)

Fort Ripley will play against the Mora Blue Devils at 11 a.m., Saturday in Cold Spring.

Sobieski plays against the Spring Hill Chargers from the tough Region 15 at 1:30 p.m., Saturday in Cold Spring.

Lastly, Lastrup will play the Fairmont Martins at 5 p.m., Sunday in Cold Spring.
