Emily Beseman played two very strong all around games to lead the Swanville Bulldogs to their third and fourth wins.
The sophomore started with a 17-point, 11-steal and eight-assist performance in a 50-16 demolition of Ogilvie in Swanville, Monday.
The Bulldogs defense clamped down on the Lions, allowing only eight points in each half.
On offense Avery Jackson also dropped in 14 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked five shots.
Tuesday, the Bulldogs won with an even better effort by Beseman.
Swanville bested Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sundberg 60-49.
Beseman had 22 points, 11 steals and 10 assists. With seven rebounds she was only three away from a quadruple-double.
Senior Madison Beseman also cashed in with 20 points in the win.
The Bulldogs will travel to Kimball for a tournament Thursday and Friday.
Royalton took care of business over Onamia, winning 49-26, Dec. 16.
Junior Jenna Carlson had 13 points and 11 rebounds, while freshman Emily Malikowski added nine points off the bench.
Royalton then split a pair of tournament games in Pillager, Monday and Tuesday.
The host Huskies were able to knock of
Royalton in a 47-34 game, Monday.
Tuesday, the Royals bounced back with a 68-53 victory over Isle.
Royalton will not hit the court again until Jan. 3, 2017, at Cathedral.
Lastly, Upsala dropped a contest to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa, 34-54, Tuesday.
The Cardinals will host a tournament Tuesday and Wednesday.
They kick it off with a game vs. Concordia Academy at 3 p.m.
