Junior Rachel Hellman was the lone Holdingford scorer in double figures with 11.

Pierz junior Kelsi Stuckmayer led all scorers with 13 points, going 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Fellow junior Brittney Boser had 11 points as well for Pierz in the loss.

Holdingford entered the contest off a 56-53 win over Melrose, which all but clinched a No. 4 seed over the Dutchmen.

Indeed the Huskers  hosted Melrose in the Section 6AA West quarterfinal, Thursday. Results were unavailable by press time.

Pierz entered the season finale after a 62-29 loss at Osakis, Feb. 23.

Pioneers senior Taryn Becker was the leader with six points.
