Frances “Fran” M. Weber

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Frances “Fran” M. Weber, age 84, who passed away Wednesday at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud. Rev. Douglas Liebsch will officiate and burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Sunday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids. Parish prayers will be at 5 p.m., followed by St. Cloud East Side VFW Post #4847 Auxiliary Sunday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.
Fran was born Jan. 11, 1933 in Buckman to John and Ludmilla (Block) Zenner. She married Bernard Weber on Nov. 20, 1951 in Pierz. They moved to St. Cloud in 1963 and Fran worked as a para-professional at Lincoln Elementary for 20 years. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Augustine Christian Women and walked strongly in her faith. Fran was also a life member and volunteer of St. Cloud East Side VFW Post #4847 Auxiliary, the Sweet Adelines and the same card club for 50 years. She was an active community and parish volunteer at St. Augustine’s.
Fran enjoyed baking “Franana Bread,” for family and friends, singing, theater and most importantly spending time with family. She will be remembered as an honest, kind, supportive, loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cared for her entire family beyond words. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her children, Mike Weber (Debbie) of St. Cloud, Lori Anderson (Gary) of St. Cloud, Paula Weber (Roberta) of Ogilvie, Jay Weber (Cindy) of Edmonds, WA, Lynn Huberty (Jim) of Rice and Scott Weber of St. Cloud; brothers and sister, Don Zenner (Terry) of Little Falls, James Zenner (Rita) of Northfield and Alice Bollin of Foley; grandchildren, Sarah, Leah, Ben, Kim, Amy, Matthew, Josh and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Ryland, Carson, Miles, Henrik, Stella and Scarlett and greatly anticipated the birth of one more great grandchild.
Fran was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; and brother-in-law, Richard Bollin.
