Chad Scheerle

Chad Scheerle, 51-year-old resident of St. Cloud, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 20, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls, with Father Matthew Langager officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls.
Chad was born August 19, 1965, in Milwaukee, Wis. He grew up in Little Falls where he attended school, graduating from Little Falls Community High School. Chad was a very creative person that loved using his hands and his imagination to create something out of literally junk. His favorite item to build were his beautiful birdhouses that he often sold and also made for his close family members. Chad also enjoyed gardening, landscaping and repurposing old antique items. He had a very close relationship with his daughter Cally, who he loved so much. Chad will forever be remembered for his love of life and his goofy personality. He was very close to his family and his presence here on earth will be truly missed by many.
Chad is survived by his daughter Cally Scheerle of Mesa, Ariz.; mother, Phyllis (Jim) Fox of Little Falls; brother, Shawn (Faith) Scheerle of Cushing; sisters, Annette (Tony) Rekowski of Sobieski, Robin (Chris) Powell of Parma, Ohio and Kim (Jim Neumann) Barnes of Little Falls; special friend, Steve Haakonson of St. Cloud; and many nieces and nephews.
Chad was preceded in death by father, Virgil Scheerle; grandparents, Elmer and Sally Elfering and Henry and Estelle Scheerle; uncles, Dwaine, David, and Ronald Elfering.
