James “Big Jim” Witucki

James “Big Jim” Witucki, 78-year-old resident of Little Falls, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at St. Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 24 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Joseph Herzing officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, March 24 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. all at Emblom Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. The burial will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery.
James Carl Witucki was born Feb. 25, 1939, in Hillman to the late Frank and Elsie (Eidenshink) Witucki. He graduated from Little Falls Community High School. After completing his schooling, he enlisted in the United States Navy. Upon returning to Little Falls, Jim worked for several years at Hennepin Paper Mill in the Water Pollution Department. Jim was united in marriage to Delores LaBar, Jan. 2, 1957, in Little Falls. He enjoyed riding horses and caring for his animals especially dogs.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Delores Witucki of Little Falls; children, Jim (Linda) Witucki of Little Falls, Daniel Witucki of Randall, William (Sheri Daniels) Witucki of Florida, Penny Elizabeth Mary Witucki of Eagle Bend, Judy (Dan) Myrum of Cushing, Lora (Michael) Lake of Arizona and Donna (Kevin) Thommes of Alaska; sisters, Genevieve Marty of Wisconsin and Donna Rubedor of Wisconsin; 25 grandchildren and 40 plus great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sally Witucki; siblings, Ed Witucki, Ray Witucki, George Witucki, Bernice Hansmann, Dorothy Heiman, and Josephine DeNio.
