Little Falls mayor honors volunteers on national day of recognition

Little Falls Mayor Greg Zylka used the Mayor’s Day of Recognition for National Service to honor volunteers in the community who spent a combined 6,041 hours with students in the Little Falls School District, helping them with reading, writing and math. Those honored include (from left): Annie Sharon, Sister Carol Mecko, Sister Bernita Lindstrom, Edna Gallus, Helen Funk, John Blom and Zylka. At the end of the recognition, Zylka proclaimed April 4 as National Service Recognition Day in Little Falls.
