Marvel J. Brossoit

Marvel J. Brossoit, formerly of rural Stewartville passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at her son's home in rural Dexter. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 20, at Zion Lutheran Church in Stewartville with Rev. Byron Meline officiating.
Marvel Joanne Feifarek was born June 19, 1931, in St. Paul, to Ernest and Margaret (Rubash) Feifarek. Marvel married Marvin E. Brossoit, Oct. 7, 1950, in Newport. The couple lived on the east coast during Marvin's military service and then made their home in the St. Paul area until moving to rural Stewartville in 1968. Marvel was a homemaker and mother of four who also worked outside the home most of her married life. She loved her jobs as a bookkeeper and secretary with her final position being many years at Ace Worldwide Moving in Rochester. Marvel enjoyed going to the family cabin in northern Minnesota which was originally built by her maternal grandfather. She loved spending time with her children and their families.
Marvel is survived by two daughters and two sons, Nanette Brossoit (David Seelen) of Little Falls, Ward(Deb) Brossoit of rural Stewartville, Jay (Carol) Brossoit of Dexter and Joanne(Jim) McCann of Rochester; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin; parents; brother, Malvern Feifarek; and grandson Alexander Brossoit.
Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior the service at the church. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston.
