Little Falls names top 10 students for the Class of 2017

     The top 10 of 180 graduates from Little Falls Community High School, listed in alphabetical order, are as follows:

Aspen Anderson is the daughter of Mark and Kristi Anderson. During high school she was involved in band, jazz band and Just for Kix in Long Prairie and also worked part-time at the Falls Cinema.

Anderson plans to attend North Dakota State University to major in accounting.

Anne Corbett is the daughter of Tim and Bridget Corbett. During her high school career she was involved in swimming, Knowledge Bowl and softball, and worked as a

lifeguard and private tutor.

She plans to attend the University of Mary to major in math education.

Jessica Eberhardt is the daughter of Danny Eberhardt and JoAnne Field. She was involved in wind symphony, concert choir, the Jubileers, Flyer Christian Athletes (FCA), jazz 2, musical, Drama Club, the fall play, Book Club and Knowledge Bowl and was a waitress at Perkins.

She plans to attend North University to study American sign language to become an interpreter and children and family ministry.

Christy Masog, the daughter of Richard and Kari Masog, was involved in swimming, skiing, softball, trap shooting and band during high school. She also worked as a lifeguard and water safety instructor and part-time at DMS Machine.

She plans to attend the University of Minnesota – Duluth to major in accounting.

Angela Meschke is the daughter of Ross and Sharon Meschke. During high school, she was involved in tennis, softball, band and Clay Target League. During her free time, she was a soldier in the Minnesota Army National Guard and a server at A.T. the Black and White.

She plans to finish her National Guard training this summer at Fort Rucker in Alabama before attending St. Scholastica in the fall to pursue a degree in nursing.

Tyler Moore, the son of Michael and Cheryl Moore, was involved in cross country, track and field, Flyer Activity Leadership Council (FALC), Link and jazz I. He worked part-time at Eagles Landing Golf Club.

Moore plans to attend the University of Mississippi to run cross country and track, while pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.

Derek Poser is the son of Bruce and Margie Poser. During high school he was involved in basketball, baseball and DECA, and worked part-time at St. Francis in nutrition services.

He plans to attend St. Cloud State University to pursue a finance degree.

Justin Primus, the son of Daniel and Joni Primus, was active in football, basketball and DECA, during high school, and worked part-time at Bob and Fran’s Grocery.

He plans to attend the University of Minnesota – Duluth to major in civil engineering.

Andrew Thompson is the son of Keith and Darla Thompson. During high school, he was involved in soccer, golf, band, jazz combo, FCA and Target, and also worked part-time at Coborn’s.

He plans to attend North Central University to major in mathematics.

MiKel Vacek, the daughter of Mike Vacek and Kelly Houle, was active in soccer, Target, FCA and Student Council during high school. She also worked part-time at Coborn’s.

Vacek plans to attend North Central University to study elementary education.

Graduation ceremonies for the Little Falls Class of 2017 will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 28, in the high school gymnasium.
