Morrison County Sheriff’s Department Report- 05/21/17

May 13 — A resident on Marble Drive in Cushing reported their camper had been broken into.
May 14 — A power pole on First Street in Swanville was damaged.
May 14 — A resident on 50th Avenue in Swanville reported their identity had been stolen.
May 14 — A resident on Garland Road in Royalton reported the theft of a Wing Guard 509 Black Fire Motocross helmet.
May 15 — A resident on Crystal Road in Motley reported the theft of $3,650 worth of agates.
May 15 — A resident on Riverside Road in Hillman reported a scam call in which someone claiming to be from Dish Network called to say they were changing the resident’s service and needed the resident’s Social Security Number.
May 15 — A resident on 213th Street in Hillman reported a scam in which they received a check in the mail from a company out of Illinois for about $9,000. The resident received instructions to cash the check and wire an amount of money to another party after keeping a fee for themselves.
May 16 — A business on Azure Road in Cushing reported a break-in, in which a door to a patio at the business had a window smashed out.
May 17 — A resident on Badger Creek Road in Swanville reported a theft.
May 17 — Someone stole a solar panel with batteries located near the roadway on Beaver Road and Azure Road in Cushing. The cost of the solar panel and batteries was estimated at $20,000 – $30,000.
May 17 — A business on Main Street in Flensburg reported the theft of $360 from a pull tabs money bag.
May 17 — A semi-trailer hit a railroad crossing arm at Grey Hound Road and 165th Avenue in Little Falls, causing damage to the crossing arm. The semi did not stop.
