American flags to line Little Falls streets as part of SAL Flag project

For the 12th year, American flags will be flying in Little Falls through the summer and into fall, as part of the Sons of the American Legion (SAL) flag project. City crews will begin placing more than 100 flags on the streets that serve the main entrance into the city prior to Memorial Day weekend. The flags will remain in place until Patriot Day, Sept. 11, and, weather permitting, be hung again for Veterans Day, Nov. 11. This year’s flag theme is, “Proud, Brave and Free.” The project is sponsored by SAL and the American Legion Post 46. The American Legion donated 40 of the flags.
