An 8-4 victory over Nisswa, June 29, reinvigorated the Little Falls Legion baseball team after the team had lost its first game earlier in the week.

Jake Kapphahn’s two-run bomb helped left the Flyers to victory. He went 2-for-3 and scored twice.

Austin Weisz played strong in center field and also drove in two runs.

AJ Jenks was the winning pitcher for Little Falls, allowing four runs on just six hits in six innings of work. He also scored and drove in a run for the Flyers.

Little Falls (8-1) hosted Sauk Rapids, Thursday, but results were unavailable by press time.

The next contest for the Flyers will be the regular season finale at Becker, Thursday.
