Justin J. Bateman, 30- year-old resident of Little Falls, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017, as a result of an ATV accident. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Swanville, with Rev. Kevin Zellers officiating. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Swanville.
Justin James Bateman was born on December 27, 1986, to Lois (Kuhl) and Steven Bateman in Little Falls. Justin was loved by many. He was an amazing person who would do anything and everything he could for anybody. He loved being outdoors, he loved being free and enjoyed riding on anything that had a motor, but he mainly loved riding four wheelers and lawn mowers. He loved his family more than anything, especially spending time with his children James, Christian and Sierra, any chance he could. Justin was an amazing friend, father, son, uncle and brother. He will be truly and deeply missed by the many lives he touched.
Justin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard Billy Bateman, Helen Bateman and Kenneth Gust Kuhl; and uncle, Howard Billy John Bateman.
Justin is survived by his grandmother, Jacqueline Kuhl; parents, Lois (Kuhl) and Steven Bateman; children, James, Christian and Sierra; brother, Jesse Bateman; sisters, Stacy Hatlestad (David), Stephanie Bateman (Camren) and Jenny Bateman (Matt); nephews, Aiden Bryniarski and Kaden Kordich; nieces, Destini Hatlestad and Arieena Karnes; and many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.
