Brett Kramer homered in his first two at-bats, the second being a grand slam to put the Rebels up big, and they never looked back.

Buckman fought off Avon with a 6-3 victory late Saturday afternoon to clinch a berth in the Region 8C Championship game. Jeremy Monson tossed a complete game for the Billygoats.

Sobieski and Ft. Ripley began play to find out who would play Avon for a chance at Buckman in the title game, Sunday.

Ft. Ripley took a 6-0 lead heading into the bottom of the third, but the game went into a rain delay.

After the downpour, the field was flooded and eventually deemed unplayable, and the game was postponed until next Saturday at 1 p.m.

Whoever wins that will play immediately after against Avon with the loser becoming the No. 3 seed. The loser of the Skis/Rebels game will be the No. 4 seed out of Region 8C.

The winner of that game will take on Buckman at 1 p.m., Sunday in Avon, and must beat the Billygoats twice to win the Region 8C Title and the No. 1 seed.
