Ten to be inducted into Court of Honor at Camp Ripley

Ten veterans will be inducted into the Court of Honor during a ceremony at Camp Ripley Sunday, Oct. 8. The public is invited to attend this ceremony, which starts at 1 p.m. at the Recreation Center, just across from the large education center.

The unveiling ceremony begins at 3:45 p.m. at the Military Museum.

The 2017 Court of Honor Induction Ceremony will be honoring and inducting the following retired service members into Camp Ripley’s Court of Honor: MG David J. Elicerio, Col. Louis O. Bode, Col. John R. Kreye, Col. John M. Pearson, Col. Michael B. Rath, CW5 Richard C. Koehnen, CSM Sean L. McGuire, CSM Ole M. Olson, SGM Daniel M. Saumer and SFC Anthony N. Wenzel.

The schedule of events is as follows: 10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m., chapel service at the Camp Ripley Chapel; 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. – lunch, Camp Ripley dining facility; 1 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. – court of induction ceremony at the Camp Ripley Recreation Center; and 4:45 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. – Court of Honor unveiling ceremony.
