The Little Falls swimming and diving team began a string of road duals with a 111-75 loss in Foley, Tuesday.
The Falcons, who are perennially one of the best teams in the state, jumped out to an early lead with wins in the first three events.
The first event was close, as the Flyers’ 200 medley relay team of Alice Foote, Hannah Jones, Katie Corbett and Rachel Josephson finished .34 seconds behind the Falcons.
Foote, a senior, captured the Flyers’ first win with a 25.67 time in the 50 free. Josephson was second with 27.37.
The Flyers fell behind 90-50 before Foote won another event, the 100 back. She finished in 1:03.7, more than seven seconds faster than her nearest competitor, which was fellow Flyers senior Rachel Reller.
Little Falls’ 400 free relay team of Josephson, Rachel Pusc, Corbett and Foote did earn another Flyers win with a 3:59.86 finish.
Little Falls’ next road dual will be at Sartell, Tuesday.
