To the Editor:
I have been informed that there is a great deal of fuss made over a hay wagon sitting in a consignment lot. The wagon is for sale and atop the wagon is a sign advertising our Harvest Liberty Dinner Oct. 28, at the VFW. It just seemed to be a good spot for a sign since it is up high and visible, just like billboards are.
Anybody who wants to buy the hay wagon may make an offer. The signs around the bottom are names of currently serving public officials; they are not campaign signs. Most people know that it is not campaign season until 2012. The American people are smarter than that. The wagon is purely informational.
