The inaugural Granite Ridge Conference (GRC) versus Central Minnesota Conference (CMC) all-star basketball games were held in Pierz, April 5. The CMC won the boys game 98-91, while the GRC won the girls game 74-59. Pierz senior Bridget Bednar led the CMC girls team with 13 points.

Eastern Morrison County Horseshoe League Genola Arena meeting will be at the Red Rooster Bar in Genola, Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. It is a mixed doubles sanctioned league.
