Weyerhaeuser Museum to celebrate 40th anniversary Aug. 23 – reservations by Aug. 18

The Morrison County Historical Society is observing the Weyerhaeuser Museum’s 40th anniversary with a day of celebratory activities Sunday, Aug. 23. There will be a public open house at the museum from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The open house will feature a ceremony and fountain rededication at 1:30 p.m. This portion of the event is free.

In the evening, the Society is hosting a 40th anniversary dinner and program at the Falls Ballroom in Little Falls. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. with the anniversary program to follow. The program will be based on the parable of the “Bundle of Sticks” and will be led by MCHS Executive Director Jan Warner.

There is a fee for the dinner which is open to the public. Those who want to attend need to make reservations with the Society by Aug. 18. Call (320) 632-4007 to make reservations.
