Little Falls Community High School (LFCHS) named Matt Stumpf, left, and Britian Conley its April Athletes of the Month. Stumpf, a junior on the baseball team, was hitting .515 at the time of the selection for the undefeated Flyers. “(Matt) has been one of our most consistent hitters and he has been a big part of our success,” head coach John Hanowski said. Conley, a senior on the softball team, hit .400 during the month with 14 hits in 11 games, including a grand slam. “Britian has worked very hard to become an excellent catcher,” head coach Ron Hinnenkamp said. “She leads by example and sees how others play, encouraging them to make the team better.”
