The Little Falls baseball team bashed its way to a doubleheader sweep at Perham, Saturday, scoring 15 runs in each game against the Yellowjackets.
In the opener, the teams traded runs in the first, then Little Falls took control with seven in the second.
The Flyers tacked on two more in the third and five in the fourth en route to a 15-3 win.
All nine starters for Little Falls had hits, led by senior Joey Hanowski, who went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two runs and four RBIs.
Seniors Mitch Gregory and Michael Holthaus and juniors Spencer Fenske and Collin Eckman each added a pair of hits.
Both of Gregory’s hits went for extra bases, Holthaus scored twice and Fenske and Eckman combined to drive in seven.
Senior Luke Thoma struck out six over five innings to notch the win on the mound.
Perham seized a 4-1 advantage in the finale, but once again couldn’t contain Little Falls’ offense.
The Flyers picked up a run in the third to close the gap, then plated six in the fourth and five in the fifth in a 15-7 victory.
Eckman was the center of each big inning, going 5-for-5 with a pair of doubles and four runs.
Senior Ian Stewart went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a homer and senior Matt Valentine also went deep.
Senior Tony Arnold, junior Nathan Backowski and Fenske each added two hits and junior Matt Stumpf drove in three runs.
Fenske earned the win in relief and junior Nathan Masog finished the game with a scoreless inning of work.
Little Falls plays at Princeton, Tuesday.
