Eleanor Polasik, a resident of Farming, passed away Thursday morning, May 16, 2013, at the Care Center of the Northfield Retirement Community.
Eleanor Prudence Polasik was born May 19, 1919, in Little Falls, to Peter and Martha (Kliber) Posch. She married Louis Polasik Oct. 2, 1944, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children: John (Nancy) of Farmington, Thomas (Dianne) of Stillwater, Mary Jo (Bruce) Rawlings of Greenfield; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sylvia Chock and Lucille Ross; two brothers, James and Leonard Posch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her infant daughter LuAnne, her parents, her sister Clara Dickerson, and her brothers Clarence and Raymond Posch.
At a future date a memorial service will held at the Chapel of the Northfield Retirement Community. Interment will be in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, in Minneapolis.
